Pre-Collision Assist With Automatic Emergency Braking

If something is detected, the system measures the distance to the object using radar and then compares it to your speed to determine if you’re traveling too fast and a collision is possible.
You’ll receive audio and visual warnings if the distance to the object is closing too rapidly, giving you enough warning to hit the brakes or swerve to prevent an accident. If you’re unable to react in time, automatic emergency braking is activated to bring your Lincoln to an almost instant stop. This will prevent a collision or reduce the damage caused.
Auto High Beam Headlamps
High beams are essential for night driving, particularly in poorly lit areas, as they allow you to see the road ahead, pedestrians, or other vehicles. Unfortunately, the beam’s direct angle can temporarily blind other drivers, and this could result in an accident. While you can manually switch from high to low beams, this takes your attention away from the road.

This feature provides increased steering torque to make turning back into your lane faster so you can avoid a potential accident. It temporarily deactivates when your direction indicator is active and resumes cooperation once you’re inside your new lane.
